Little Black Dress

Sunday, December 28, 2014

Hi Beauties,

This past week I had an important event to attend at Wynwood in Miami. It was the first charity event for a family friend's foundation called Ganando Sonrisas, created to help poor kids all over the world beginning with places like the Dominican Republic. They did a fashion show where Luis Antonio, a Puerto Rican designer, showcased his Spring/Summer 2015 line.  It was a huge honor to attend this show.  Every piece was beautiful.  For this event, I went with one of my favorites that you can never go wrong with, a little black dress. I accessorized it with gold and pearls because paired with black gives it a classier feel. When choosing my shoes, I decided on an all black look. Though I wore an open back and a low cut dress, it was simple enough for my black strappy heels to add an extra touch.  Keep in mind, that when wearing something plain, it is always good to accentuate with accessories.  Below are some pictures for you guys. Hope you enjoy, Thank you for reading and feel free to comment/follow on Twitter and Instagram.

A little Dark Side

Monday, December 15, 2014

Hi beauties

I went on a little dinner & movie date with my Hunnie yesterday.  I finally got my hands on some shirt dresses and brought one out to play. They're the cutest and most comfortable pieces of clothing. The good thing about them is the fact that you can dress them up or dress them down. That's why I love them so much. Since it started to get a little cold in Miami, I decided to add a pop of color with my wine leather jacket and make the look a little more semi formal by adding in some heels since we were going to dinner first. I love pairing my lipstick with a piece of clothing I'm wearing which Is why I chose my SIN by MAC. I feel like by adding a little more to your makeup like a wing liner, a bold lip, or both, that gives your whole outfit a little spice. Below are some pictures for you guys. I hope you enjoy and thank you for reading. Feel free to comment/ follow on Twitter and Instagram.

Art Basel Sunday

Sunday, December 7, 2014

Hi beauties,

This Sunday evening, I got the chance to stop by the 44th annual Art Basel show in Miami Beach, Florida. This event attracts thousands of people presenting work from all over the world. This time as I was planning my outfit I did something I don't usually do, which was picking out my accessories first and then looking for an outfit to match. I knew going to this event there would be a lot of walking, so I decided to leave my heels at home. I had my brim black floppy hat picked out with my laced up flats, settled on my high waisted jeans to be comfortable and paired it with a cute olive knitted crop top. I pulled the outfit together with a statement cardigan. This was a relaxing Sunday spent walking around and admiring art so this is an outfit I would recommend for an event you are attending outdoors, or even going out to lunch with your family. Below are some pictures for you guys of both my outfit and the pieces of art work we came across. Hope you enjoy, thank you for  reading and feel free to comment/follow on Twitter and Instagram.
