Simple Days

Hi Beauties,

                 Yesterday was a very relaxing Sunday for me. As you guys probably know, Miss Universe was airing and I obviously had to plan my outing around that! That's something I couldn't miss. All I had in mind was a nice lunch at a restaurant so I wanted to wear something comfortable, but cute. I picked out a simple white tee and jeans and decided to dress it up with a statement necklace and a nice clutch. When you just can't think of an outfit, a neutral color top and jeans is the way to go. Pair it with some colorful accessories and heels and you'll be Gucci! Below are some pictures for you guys. Mixing Comfortable with Fashionable

Hi Beauties,

             Aside from loving sweats and fuzzy socks, another obsession of mine are oversized sweaters. They are so comfortable,  extra cozy and a great pick for a chilly night. I recently purchased this white knitted one and have been loving it. A great factor about oversized sweaters is the ability to look fashionable while still feeling extra comfy. I paired my sweater with some black leggings I bought a few years ago and my nude pointed pumps. Since I was covered in neutrals, I decided to add a pop of  color and statement by adding a gorgeous chunky necklace. This is always a great accessory when you feel your outfit looks a little boring. Don't underestimate that oversized sweater you use to lounge in around your house because it can very well turn into your favorite piece of clothing for a night out in the city. All you need to do is accessorize and slip on your favorite heels. Below are some pictures for you guys. SPARKLE and SHINE

Hi Beauties,

                 I don't know about you but when the new year is approaching what automatically
comes to mind for me is sparkle and shine! New Years Eve is a day filled with fire works, special events all around the world, and as we know New Years Eve consists of the main colors Gold,Silver and anything with glitter! This year, I decided to wear Black and Gold. I wanted to wear a festive color but paired it up with a neutral to have the focus on the Gold for New Years. I decided to pair the Gold and Black detailed skirt with a black half sleeved crop top and some nude pointed pumps. Nude and black aren't two colors you would automatically think of combining, usually we go for white and nude. But as soon as I put those babies on my whole look became extremely classy. Nude pointed pumps is always a good shoe to dress up your look! I decided on some statement gold earrings and kept my jewelry minimal. Because I already had a lot going on with the skirt, I kept it simple to not over excess my outfit. I honestly cannot believe 2014 is over. It was a year of a lot of change for me, good change. It honestly feels like the days are flying by and its a little scary. That is why I have came to an agreement with myself to make every day count. Even my lazy days when I just want to stay home and watch Netflix, make them count and live every moment to the fullest. I know in this generation with all the technology around us it's hard to not pick up the phone and document memories but just make sure you're really soaking those moments in. I hope you all had an amazing New Years, made all your New Years resolutions whether you pull through with them by 2016 or not! and that this year brings every single one of you Joy , Success, and most of all Happiness. Hi Beauties,

                       Last week we celebrated my all time favorite holiday, Christmas♥ This holiday brings me so much joy and happiness, I anxiously wait for it all year. Fun fact: So I heard that the reason why candy canes are shaped in a J is because a long time ago, a candy maker wanted to make a candy that symbolized the true meaning of Christmas(Jesus). The hard candy was shaped like a "J" to represent Jesus as our rock of all ages. The white stands for the pureness of Jesus and the red represents the blood that Jesus shed to save us from our sins. This meaning behind this holiday candy honestly warms my heart and I truly believe that's the history behind candy canes. Presents is the last thing I think about when it comes to Christmas. Being surrounded by family, cracking jokes, and just spending a night away from the hecticness of the world and mainly focusing on the quality time of family is what I love. From Thanksgiving to Christmas to New Years, these are holidays I love dressing up for. I feel like its how you should spend them, they're suppose to be special days and spending them in Jeans and a shirt is just not how I picture it in my mind. I love going with the theme of Christmas and occasionally wearing my Red or Greens so I finally got the chance to wear this beautiful dress I had bought a few months ago. Since the mini dress had a very low V-neck and a beautiful open back I didn't want to take the focus from the dress with excess Jewelery so I chose dangling earrings, since I didn't wear a necklace, and a matching ring. Simple accessories is the way to go for me when my wardrobe has such eye catching details. Below are some pictures for you guys.
